The Contextual Home Automation OS (CHAOS) is a platform which enables users to develop and sell home automation apps. It adds an App ecosystem layer on top of home automation hubs, like the Micasaverde Vera. It uses novel phone sensing methodologies to provide inputs to the automation hub. This plugin, and matching phone app, demonstrates one component of the CHAOS platform, sensing when the user gets home from their phone presence. There is not documentation how to configure this app. I use the plugin Virtual Switch in combination with Ping Sensor to achieve the same effect, but thought I could use this instead. I have entered my IP address but the created switch do not reflect the status of the device. read more
