I have 4 of the Foscam FI8910W in my house and ideally would like to have video recorded from all 4 cameras 24/7. Unfortunately, limited bandwidth on my wireless network and lack of HDD space makes this difficult to achieve.



This plugin is the next best thing, taking pictures every X minutes and uploading to Dropbox. I have this set to take a picture every minute and I calculate that I can archive 11-12 days worth of photos for all 4 cameras on 2.8GB of space. Even with this limit, I felt 7 days of photos was sufficient.



Each photo uploaded to Dropbox has a time stamp and a new subfolder is created for each day. I can easily search to find a particular photo for a particular date and time.



Hypothetically, this can be used to catch certain perpetrators, say dog walkers who don't pick up their dog's poop on your lawn. Without this app, such crimes would remain unsolved. Luckily, this app allows justice to be served.
