This device works just as you would expect. It can control your hue lights quicker than native z-wave devices. The one disadvantage is it does not integrate well with the vera mobile app, therefore if you wish to change color, etc. of the lights, you have to use the computer or native hue app. This can be pseudo-fixed however by setting up new scenes with specific color options, i.e. all lights blue = blue scene. This is limited to only 6 color options though because of option to only add 6 color sets. Something I feel it is missing is changing the names of the different color sets, i.e. blue color set is named "1" instead of "blue" as I would prefer. I am a novice with the VeraLite however, so these shortcomings could be related to the parent company, MiCasaVerde, or the programmer... idk though.

I would totally recommend it in a heartbeat to any family members who already have a vera though, and want to control individual light bulbs.
